Work Plane Error

Not applicable

I am creating a 2 storey residential home and when I try to creat a roof, ceiling, floor or stairs on the floor level 1, I get a work plane error that states that I cannot use work plane. What causes this error and what can I do to solve this problem?

If you go to the 3D View, and navigate to the Home tab > Workplane > Show, where is the workplane appearing?
Try to click Workplane > Set, and choose Name > specific level to see if you create the elements afterward.
Also if you have the exact error message, if the error persists, it would be helpful.

Also if you have the exact error message [or screen capture to attach] , if the error persists, it would be helpful.  Thank you,

If the above didn't work. You are probably on automatic ceiling and need to change to sketch ceiling.
