wood Curtain wall mullions joints not closing tight

I am creating a curtain wall with curtain grids and mullions for wood framing. My mullion sizes are 2x8 both horizontal and vertical. But the problem is, the mullions joints are not closing in tight. please see the image attached and help me solve this issue.

Did you create a custom mullion profile family or create/edit a type from the system rectangular mullion family?

My guess from looking at your screenshot is that your horizontal members are stopping at a Grid Line. If so, either remove the Grid Line or place a vertical Mullion at that gap.  

 

If this isn't it, then post your file so we can see and explain what is going on.  

 

BTW: you should be able to get them tight as a duck's arse.  😉
