Window that cannot be placed

Hello. Does it ever happen to you that you cannot place a window because it says "none of the created elements are visible"while others can be placed and seen?

Thank you.

can the window be used on any revit project?

can the window be used on a default wall type?

can the inserted windows be seen in other views?

1. Cut a section through that wall (all along the building) and check where it got placed. On that wall or some wall in the background

2. Are there any subcategories under windows section visibility graphics which is switched off?

3. Can you attach the window to check if anything weird about it?

Thanks for your responses.

For whatever reason, and I have recorded it, the window appears when I hoover over some parts of the wall and over other parts dissappears.

Once I place it on the area I am allowed to, I can move it.

Don't know which conclusions can I draw from this..

In general workflow, I would place windows in a floor plan view or a 3D view instead of an annotated elevation view.

By the way, is this the same project that we have discussed about a similar issue?  What is the host wall?  Model in-place or regular wall?

You can copy the wall including the window and paste it in a blank project if you cannot share this one...

Then a conclusion can be drawn 🙂
