Window Schedule

Hi,

I am making some changes to a house I have modelled. I want to show existing, to be demolished and proposed (new) walls and windows etc.

However, in the window schedule, I cant seem to get it to show the proposed windows. Does anyone know how to do this?

I have got the `to be demolished` and existing windows to show on the schedule, but cant get it to show New or proposed.

Also, sometimes when I place windows, I cant see them in my floorplan unless I high light the wall by drawing a box over it. Why is that?

Thanks. but I want to show ALL the windows on the schedule, with either existing, to be demolished or proposed by the side of them. I know I can toggle between them and the schedule will change, but I want all the windows to be listed, weather existing, to be demolished or proposed.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks, I can do that, but again, you are not showing the NEW windows in the list. I want to show NEW, to be demolished and existing.  But there is not an option on the toggle switch for this.

So how can you show New windows in the window schedule along with existing and to be demolished.

As you have shown above, you can show Phase created and Phase Demolished, but not New phase??

Wouldn't you want the schedule phase filter set to "None" then?

What do you mean?  The first window in the list is an existing window being demolished, the second is an existing to remain, the last one is a new window.  What else do you need?

Yep, sound like "NONE" is the way to go then.

can you show which one you mean I should set to None? As I have done that and it doesnt seem to work. My proposed windows are still missing in the schedule.

What do you mean by "proposed" windows. Do you have a phase by that name? Or are you meaning windows that are in a future phase of construction? 

...bottom line: what I'm taking about is the phase that the schedule is reporting on. It has a phase setting just like views do. Sounds like you want no ("None") phase filter.

Set the schedule phase to the last phase of your project, where you created the proposed new window, and set the schedule phase filter to ALL or NONE.  If you still can't show them, share the file so I can understand how your phasing is setup.

Ok, ive attached screenshote. So wgat I want is a window schedule that shows all the windows in my house, weather existin, to be demolished or new / proposed. But there is no `All` option in the phase filter for the schedule, so I'm missing windows depending on which one I choose. See below.

So, I would like to see all my windows, 1 to 27 in this case, with the phase listed too. See attached.

Sounds like you don't want phase filtering, so set Phase Filter to NONE.  BTW: it's SHOW ALL not ALL.

...I'm looking at your photos and see no schedule. Maybe we're misunderstanding you. Are you talking about Schedules, or trying to show something in the View or on the Tag itself?

No. If you are truly talking about a Window Schedule (View tab=>Schedules), then look on the Properties Pallet inside a Schedule View itself and you'll see what we're talking about.  

...go into the schedule that is shown in your schedule.png above.

Here:

By the way, the highlighted windows below should have been created under Existing phase and Demolished under Proposed phase.  What you have there means you installing the new windows and taking them out immediately.

Hi, 

See screenshot attached. I have created the window schedule from view/ schedules.

The schedule Phase filter will only toggle between Existing, To be demolished and proposed. So the schedule then reflects that with the windows it shows. But, I want to show ALL windows in the schedule and weather they are existing, to be demolished or proposed. How do I do that?
