however problem is still not solved

Can you describe the problem that you are encountering.  Some downloaded families are just dodgy.

The representation of the family in floor plan is not correct. Instead of being shown "as cut" - it displays "as above", although view range settings are correct

Edit the window family - you will note that the window frame is nested.  Edit that family and look at the object styles - The WINDOW_OPENING style is set to dashed.  Change this to the desired line style.

Im sorry but this is not the case.... The element is not cut in the view. Nothing to do with object styles

Are you talking about Window/Door Plan View Cut Representation. That's controlled through the Family, not the Project.

Upload the family to the forum without winrar...

Without looking at it...check the view range of the window in the family editor.  This can be checked in the Properties window by clicking the arrow next to Edit Type to get the sheet view options.

When I posted the revised file I thought it would be obvious if you compared the files. Now I forgot what I did. If you have the original file or the other window having the same issue then you ca post it again.

Adjust the family's cut plane height in Plan View. The cut representation in the family, is the cut representation in the Project.  Period.  Verify the Cut Preview Display in the Family before reloading into Project.
