Hello

I have table and sink family in Revit file. Sink creates a perfect void and fits into table. But if i take only table and copy sink to it, then it doest'n make a void in the table.

File is in attachment.

Basically Revit does not know if you want interaction between the elements. So you will have to tell revit to cut the table with the void in the sink by using the cut tool.

Or you copy the table with the cutout sink at the same time, then Revit knows they belong together and will keep the cut.

There are several alternative ways to build the family like:

-Built the table family with the sink included.

-Make use of a face based (sink)family.

Different ways will have advantages and disadvantages. It is up to you to decide which one is preferred.
