Why Revit didn't ask to change the views name?

I have a building with Three levels. I want to change the name of the levels so the associated level with the view is different. when I changed plan 1 to plan 1x Revit didn't ask me if I want to change the associated plans but it did when I changed plan 2 to plan 2x and plan 3 to plan 3x. I wonder why and how to fix it that Revit ask me for plan 1 also. Thank you

My guess is that you don't have corresponding Level and Views.

If a view was renamed to differ from its Level name then revit won't ask you again when you rename the level.

Honestly, I've encountered such behavior on occasion before. I've never spent the time to troubleshoot it though. I just figure it's a loose nut behind the keyboard and move on.

...Maybe they aren't named EXACTLY the same?

I will not consider so.

It could be renamed to plan 1x then back to plan 1.  If you can't live without the name association, just delete that view and re-create a new plan view for that level.

@Anonymous: Do you have a sh*t-load of views to rename. You might be able to manage the task more efficiently through a View List Schedule.  FWIW.
