Hi,
Could you please give me some advice or help me figure out Print to PDF settings.
I have two questions concerning to create PDFs files via Microsoft Print to PDF.
To my understanding Print to PDF with Revit does not create PDF files for bigger paper sizes(A0,A1, E,D,). The only way is by creating the desired paper sizes in: Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers. The other way I guess is with Add-ins?
- My first question is, once I have the PDF file, if the paper size I created does not affect the file every time I print it in a Plotter store. I only have to choose the paper size on the plotter? And should it print exactly as the paper size I created? I'm a little lost there. Or as long as the paper size I created is roughly equal to that of the plotter, would that be fine?
- My second concern is when I open the Print window on Revit I noticed that I can reach out the paper sizes from properties button and in Print Setup as well. What is the difference between those options? should both have to match or which one is taken into consideration when generating the PDF File of the desired Sheet(s).
Thanks in advance for your Kind Advice.
the following images are where the paper sizes are shown in Properties and in Setup
