Hi,

I want to create flooring like " Vitrified tile Flooring"( Vitrified+Morter-35mm or Adhesive-6mm). I do not want to create another type because of support materials(Morter or Adhesive). I want to control by parameter.

Need Help.

Thanks in advance,

 Sudip

Do what you don't want to do - create another type.

Hi,
I want both options in a single type without creating another type. Like Drop Down or family type option.
Because both are used in the same project.

Thanks,
Sudip

Why can't you have both types in one project?

as @ToanDN stated you need to create a new floor type. This would work the exact same way as a family type dropdown or a type list and it would be in the floor families section of the project browser or when you select a floor in model you get a type drop down in properties.

You other option is to create the structural floor/framing as one floor and then make secondary floor types for all your different finishes and put it on top of the structural floor.
