verify the following:

1.  View Range is set properly (cut plane)

2.  Base and Top contraints of walls

3.  Walls categorie and subcategories are turned on (not hidden)

4.  Graphics Card is certiified to run Revit and has latest driver

5.  Start with new default Architectural Template.rft file and try again

What should be the base and top constraints in metres as project units?

top and bottom constraints of a wall can be anything you want.  For example, base of wall can be associated to Level 1 and top of wall can be 2'-0" higher than level 2.  Project Units for your revit model can be anything you want...Go to Manage tab, Project Units, select the unit measurement type you want to change and set it to what you want (i.e. Feet/inches/meters/etc.)

go to an elevation type view (elevation, interior/exterior elevation, section, wall section, bldg section, etc.)

to to Datum Panel within Home Tab of Ribbon

choose Level command

draw the level via 2 clicks or pick method with offset

rename/change elevation height as desired

create associated plan views if necessary

Are you maybe looking at a ceiling plan view instead of a floor plan view?

have you tried copy/paste all 3d elements to a new file to see if it the file that is corrupt?

are you using a custom revit template file or the default architectural template file?

the material libraries and family libraries are downloaded and installed by default when you install the software.

If you need the material library again, you can download and install them separately:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcartic...

if you need the family libraries, you will have to do a repair/reinstall of revit.
