Wall to Roof join

Wall to roof join seems to only happen 80% of the time. Seems very finicky.

Some times I have no idea why they won't join.

My materials are in the right place and the floors abut the appropriate wall layer.

What else could be causing these elements not to join?

Try using Switch Join Order.

Are you referring to Attach Top/Base? Depends on the condition. Can you post a picture of your particular condition?

...but 80/20 does sound about right.

Hi

Simple rules for Wall and Roof joins.

1. Wall will join if the Roof Profile overlaps the wall in plan...

2. Joining one wall to two different Roof is a problem.. most probably you are facing this.

3. Wall with profile edited, and then trying to join to roof is another problematic situation..

keep the modelling simple... work in multiple views to see exactly whats happening in 3D,

section, elevation to pin point problem..

Best luck
