Wall Reveal

Hi

I'm using a basic Exterior - Render on Brick on Block, this type has 2 reveals. I want to add same reveal for 2 sides only of a pert of this wall. For the wall on the right I can create a reveal from the drop down list of Wall, But I can't match it measurements. Using this tool on the left wall, it creates a reveal on all the wall which is not what I'm looking for. What I need is to create a reveal on a part of a wall, in a way I control it's measurements to match it with the existing, or apply the existing reveal on both sides of a wall and control its length.

You can select a reveal and grip stretch to the desired length. Use align tool to align them to match the heights.

Thank you for your helpful reply. This will be my second step. The first step is to make same reveals on both sided of a wall by editing its type properties.

Yes I did. The size of reveal created under wall drop down list is different from the size of reveals of the wall in the project. The reveals in the project are already done by wall type. So that I'm looking for a way to make the same size on both sides from the properties type

I found how to do it from editing type properties.

Hi,

Totally new to Revit - just trying out the free trial for 30 days. Is it possible to add a reveal or sweep to a custom shaped wall - i.e. one that isn't a straight line without chopping the wall into sections?
