wall opening not cutting through stacked wall

I have a simple stacked wall and I need to make an opening through it. I have tried used int opening "wall" tool but it seems to offset the opening by 10mm and doesn't cut all the way. I have no way to move the opening over at all. Everything is on the existing phase. So far my work around is to use a structural door opening.

If I use the opening tool on a non-stacked wall, no problem. Door and windows also cut the stacked wall no problem.

See attached.

Any ideas??

Yea could do that or model in place a void, but that still doesn't fix this issue.
