As tittle says,

Why it's messing up layers if all parameters are similar, but when all parameters are different every thing is fine with joining's?

If you want to continue using unlocked layers and Base Extensions >>> Use the Wall Joins Tool

Wall joins.gif

Alternatively...

  1. Disallow Join (Right Click the blue end grip)
  2. Stretch Wall to allow Geometry to Join as per Layer Functions

Otherwise...follow reply on your other post

  • Use proper Layer Functions Structure/Substrate/Finish...
  • Use Join Geometry between Wall and Floor

TIP: pay attention to layer functions.

This setup is problematic:

Why is it problematic? because all have Structure Function?!

It is neither problematic nor it is a must to have different functions for different layers. Functions are applied on as necessary basis - the only restriction is the order/sequence  of hierarchy if various functions are used

When all layers have the same function => they have same priority and join is applied based on material. It is actually a solution for several situations in order to achieve certain joins

You don't know what you are talking about - or you don't know what I'm talking about.  Which is it?

I know very well what I am talking about and I am pretty sure that the set up you highlighted is not problematic, and it is not even relevant to the problem of the OP...if you are so sure it is, feel free to elaborate how or why is it problematic

Ok if you say so...

I would still be interested in reading your point of view on how and why that setup is problematic. One can always learn something new even at an old age

Thanks for info, I was more confused about - why Layer connections are messed, when everything is aligned perfectly?
