No matter what I do, I get this wall join here.
Wall joins in revit are just a ****show.
There's no resource on it that takes into account even moderately complex situations.
Hard to tell what is going on from an image. Can you reply back and post a file so that someone here can look at it? Be sure to mention what version of Revit the file has been done in.
Meanwhile, are there just two Walls in the posted image? Are both Walls the same Wall Type, or are they different? If different, are the layers within the Walls the same? Does one Wall have some condition, like a Sweep, that is not applied to the other Wall?
Go to a 3D View. Isolate the two walls. Drag one wall past the other. Do they Join properly?
Now, pull them back so they don't intersect. Try the Trim tool. Any luck?
Also, try using the Wall Join Tool--cycle thru the possible join conditions--Butt, Miter, etc. It might take a bit, but usually this will work.
If not, right click on the blue dot and select "disallow join" on one wall.
Now use Align Command to align it to the other wall at the proper location.
A few more troubleshooting questions:Are both walls in the same Phase?
