Nothing happens when I change visual style.

The attach files is my door family and a image capture when I change visual style to Shaded.

I'm using this door family for another project. It's ok.

@Anonymous,it’s happening when wall wrapping at inserts is set to both and the wall is joined with the structural column. Either,

1. set the wall closure to other than both in the project or

2. do not join them or

3. create a wall closure ref plane in the door family (see pics)

@ennujozlagam, in your file, you've used architectural column. It's supposed to be structural Smiley Wink

Too complicate to solve. And I'm not sure it's work another times.

1 & 3. All of wall, I never set closure before, and everything fine until this time.

2. I need join column and wall because sometime the wall not hidden when it pass through the column and I don't know why.

@1, I meant ‘set the wall wrapping…’, not closure. Sorry.

Just insert a new column and do not join it with the wall. When you join and then unjoin, it displays transparent (who knows why?).

Setting up a wall closure is not complicated at all, and it’s good to have it in your inserts families, so you can control wall layers return depth. Without it, you have no control over return at all. See these tutorials

Sorry but I don't think your ideas is solution for this.

By the way, when you said about wall wrap, I can't understand why revit can't allow wrap layer inside the core? And it make something strange.

I have a problem like picture in attack file. I'm already search and can't find anything happy.

It looks like what he suggested is the only way can solve your problem so far then it deserves to be a solution in my book. If you want people to continue helping you then show some appreciations to what they have already done. It's just a common sense.

Revit does not allow wall core to wrap because the term wrapping itself implies the outer layers. By the way, the image you show where the wall crossing the gap has nothing to do with wrapping, but rather one of the priority joining issues (Revit wants core joins with core, finish joins with finish).
