Wall corners in 3d Section not joined

Hi to all, i am a student trying to learn revit.

I created a model and I had a weird problem. I designed a rectangular room and all walls are joined fine as well as the wall corners in plan view. But when I create a section box in 3D the "cut" walls' corners are not showing as joined. I provide you with screenshots so that you can understand what I am describing. A temporary solution was to change joint connection to a miter corner but I hope there is a better solution. Thanks for your time!!

Could be any number of reasons. Did you create Parts from that Wall and is Parts Visibility turned on in the View?

Are you working with Design Options and that wall is in an Option Set?

You can post file if you want.

Did you have one of the wall disallowed join by any chance?

I am not using design options and I checked that the walls are indeed joined. I uploaded the file, I would be grateful if you checked it. It just drives me crazy that I cannot figure out the logic of why that happens. But hey I just started to learn Revit and I love it so far.

Set the 3d to top view using viewcube. There, you select the wall join and switch it to miter. This should change the 3d to show join correctly.

Thank you! I experimented a bit more and I realized that if you use a section box manually to cut off the upper half of a story then the walls are not showing as connected at the corners, but if you use the viewcube to navigate to a 3d view of a floor plan the wall corners seem fine. It must be some kind of bug! Thank you all! Glad we sorted this out.!

Guys I finally figured why that happens! Due to the needs of the tutorial I had some of the outer layers of the wall unlocked at the bottom so that the floor would fit inside (image attached). I turned it back to normal and all wall corners instantly corrected. I believe that Revit can't figure out the geometry when using these walls!!
