Having issues troubleshooting in Revit 2015 LT. Attached is a profile I am attempting to superimpose in a ceiling + wall profile. I would like a relief into both, but cannot figure out how to model it.

the ceiling and wall will need to be created as an in-place model object so that the void object can cut it.

you can also try to use the wall reveal command to create the void within the wall portion.
