Void not cutting Generic Model Array in Family

I have a generic face based model of a spandrel panel, with a nested decorative generic model with an array of generic models within that.

I need to cut a vent void into said decorative panel model, but I cannot get any voids (nested families or otherwise) to interact with the panel family.

How do I get this to work?

I need a solution ASAP

'Cut with Voids when loaded' is checked? Can you post a picture?

Yes that option is checked in all families, nested and overall.

My assumption is that a void cut would make the array of families vary, therefore nullifying the identical nature of the array?

Create the voids in the 1st level generic model family.

I have tried in all 3 levels:

- Project

- Nested Family

- Original Panel Family

Nothing seems to cut the array.

- create a generic model A with solids and voids, cut solids with voids
- create a generic model B, nested A in, array A
- create a face based C, nested B in, associate array parameters
- load C in project
