I have void around a shower pan to cut the gyp out of the wall. But the void is present in the foreground taking priority above the pan geometry, make the pan reference invisible when aligning or dimensioning to it. How can I make the uncut geometry or reference lines the priority and show in the foreground instead of the void?

I can, I think I just didn't set it for that family. But that doesn't have the void unmask the pan geometry reference for me to align to. I can align to it, but its hidden underneath the voids brown line when preselecting.
