Trying to find / create a Chain Link Fence as a railing family.

Hey everyone I am currently trying to create a Chain link fence as a railing family. I have been doing a lot of research on this and saw this link (https://www.engineering.com/fencing-in-revit-continuous-chain-link/) that someone named John Tocci jr created but sadly the links do not work with the final product. Does any one have a link that works or has a design that they could link to me that works. It needs to be a railing so that it works with Topography. I am using Revit 2023. Thank you

I found one by searching Google...

It may work for you.

This is the railing I made for fences. It uses a tall skinny profile with a custom fencing material as a rail to create the look of chainlink.

@ryanbiljan96

Attached are 2

  1. modeled as railing RVT 2022 (you can use transfer project standards or copy paste into your model)
  2. modeled as an Adaptive Component dating back to 2016. It contains the adaptive family attached as well as how to model it, how to set up the material and do the take off

I appreciate it but I am looking for a railing model family because that is the only thing that works directly on Topography thank you though

FYI if you want the fence to be a different height (currently 5'-0" or 1525mm) you will need to do this by editing the height of the rail elements in the "rail structure" UI. You will also need to edit the profile for the chain link so that it is the height of the fence (currently it is 5 x 1500mm).
