Visual Style Shading/consistent colors/Realistic does not work

I am having trouble with the Visual Style.

Shading/ Consistent Colors/Realistic does not work.  I have attached a pdf screenshot.

I have modeled switchgear using an electrical template (out of the box). 

I do not know what I am doing wrong.

In previous model I modeled the building in an Architectural template and then imported into an electrical template and modeled my electrical equipment and I did not have any problem with the visual style.

Looks like an underlay to me. In other words, it looks like the elements are not native in that view.

Change view to coordination discipline.
