So I left one place and came to a new company for the location. They are a bit different with their Revit Standards, the main issue I’m having is with visibility graphics. They use filters instead of differing worksets in plumbing I’m used to particular pipe (waste, storm, domestic) being specific colors and on specific worksets for each. They also use single line and I’m used to seeing in fine detail. Unfortunately, in order to see what I need I have to go to each view, duplicate, rename for myself, then change the color of each filter along with the detail level and visual style. They don’t allow changes to their templates or work on their sheets, so I use temporary view. They prefer I duplicate each view and then do what I want, but they have dozens and dozens of views in each project.
My question:
Is there an add-in or work around to changing filter colors and other view graphics on only my machine? I want to be able to open a sheet or view click a button and it has my previous settings without permanently changing the view graphics or printing that way on a sheet.
I know I can turn on temp view, but again I can’t save the settings because of their rules.
Thanks
