Revit 2019 - Backspace key does not work on autocomplete fields

I'm not sure if this is a bug or just some issue I am experiencing. When typing in a text field in the properties panel, specifically in a field that suggests autocomplete text (room name for example, but also many others) I am unable to use the backspace key to delete text. This only happens when the suggested autocomplete text is displayed, if I try to backspace quickly before that text is displayed I can usually remove a single character - but then it sort of locks me out again.

Is anyone else able to replicate this?

I have this same issue . . . did you ever find a fix? I'm looking for answers.

I haven't solved this yet or heard of any good solutions. I've tested this out on a few other machines in the office and it's about 50/50. Everyone is running the same version on similar computers (and with the same monitors). I was hoping the most recent update would fix this, but it it still occurring. It's definitely a strange issue.

Here's a screencast that illustrates the issue. This happens in several text fields, this is only one example.

Not sure about everyone else, but my wireless Microsoft keyboard was experiencing this up until early last week. There were some Microsoft updates that somehow seem to have fixed this issue for me in ALL versions of Revit. Such a relief, as having to use the arrow and delete keys was very annoying.
