view range

why does revit not do a view range option, so you can actually view by coloured lines your view range settings, be so useful to have

you woull be able to open an elevation, be able to see your view range setttings and be easy to adjust by visually seeing your ranges

You can do that in VG (visual graphics), use filters with colors

Can you explain further, have a tutorial? I know about filters but how can you create your view range using filters
Can you advise would be most helpful
