View range still showing object above the top line

Hi 

I am trying to do a floor plan on a 5 story building, the picture below is of the second floor, however there are some objects on level 3 that are showing up. some of the things I've tried to do : 

- Check View range is top is set below unwanted objects

- check to see that there are no plan region in area

- check to see that the unwanted object is set to level 3 NOT in the second floor, though I found that if i offset the unwanted objects 1' up it does fix the issue. I just want to fix it correctly. 

I've included the pictures below of the view and the view range, I've circle the unwanted objects that are showing as well

You have to select "None" in Range:Base Level.

The view range of the underlay is not affected by the view range of the view. The issue you are experiencing could be related to the components being associated with the wrong level.

For example, see the GIF below: In case the model has a structural level and an architectural level. And the Furniture components are hosted on the structural level, which falls between the Underlay Base and Top Levels, the furniture components are captured and will show in the underlay.

This is a common issue users also encounter with mezzanine floors and split levels.
