Hello guys, I tried to create a profile family using the cross-section of the shape of a rail which I have in an autocad file (I have it in an pdf file also). My intention was to use the file as a template and use the "pick up line" tool of the family editor to create the profile and then using with a rail to model a railway. The problem is that it won't work, the command don't recognize or select any line, and I find the drawing line by line very hard, is there a way that I might accomplish what I need without drawing it line by line? Thanks everybody.

A PDF? No wonder you can't select lines. There is no lines to select. Just pixels. Revit doesn't do pixels.
No... I imported the pdf to cad, then in cad I built the profile as a whole polyline, and then that file is the one that i exported to revit, I'm attaching the file so you can see.
