Urgent!!! need to split wall

 Hi Masters!!!

I'm working in a architecture model, Initially I have created block work with finishes as a single wall. Now our consultants required block work and finishes in two different file. So we did parts for all walls and we hidden the finishes using filter to create block work layout. Here what we faced is we cant able to move/copy/and changing wall length etc.. to do this each time we are turning on "show original".

Also while we switch to show parts in parts visibility the wall are looking not connected (image attached).. Please help us to get rid off this. Or suggest us to do this in any other method if there.

Thanks in advance.

as first step you can combine (1) your parts. line between them will disapear.

when you need to correct the walls you can redact them (2)

it`ll help, but i think using parts was not the best idea )

use different walls.

may wall has two layers 1 - 300mm and 2 - 100mm

i made copy of all model and put it to the same place.

my previous type of the wall had name 1. i made two copies 1-2 and 1-3. in type 1-2 i delete layer 1, in type 2 i delete layer 2.

now i need replace the walls with their new types. i`ve got two walls in the same place, so, for one of them in the properties for field "location line" i choose "int...", for other wall i choose "ext..". now, i change type of the first wall to 1-2 and for the second to 1-3.

now we have different walls for work and for finish

This is a legitimate approach.  The only thing I may change is Exclude the finishes from Parts and they will disappear without having to use Filters.  To edit walls, you do need to see Originals, so I would create different views for Show Parts and Show Originals (or Both) to serve different purposes.

Also while we switch to show parts in parts visibility the wall are looking not connected (image attached).. Please help us to get rid off this. Or suggest us to do this in any other method if there.

As stated earlier, Merge Parts will do.

Thanks in advance.

As we have various thickness walls e.g 200 and 100mm thick parts in connection, we are unable to tag the thickness separately for parts if we merge them. Is there any way to tag those part thickness if we merge them.
