Updating Revit destroys Dynamo

Could someone please explain to me why a billion dollar company like Autodesk is incapable of publishing updates that actually work? Explain it to me like I'm 5.
Today I updated Revit 2022 and 2023 to the latest version. Lo and behold Dynamo no longer works. And because the geniuses at Autodesk no longer allow a seperate installation of Dynamo, the only solution I have found it to COMPLETELY remove Revit and reinstall without the update.
In Revit 2022 I receive the following error.
In Revit 2023 Dynamo opens, but the window doesn't show. In the menu bar I can see the Dynamo icon/window but it's blank.
