Re: Unwanted raster printing - unknown reason

I've got the same issue - a sheet with a few details on it, haven't been changed from section to detail, some print as raster images instead of vector leading to inconsistent very clearly different graphics. Different to the V1 of this post, (in 2018)  I don't get the message "Revit is going to use raster settings" warning box

-happening in 2020,

-all are section views @1:10,

-no navisworks,

-no filters,

-no by element or by category overrides,

-all in hidden line

-all controlled by the same  view template

- of course no depth cuing, point clouds, shading or gradients,

yet some views appear grey and rastered

the only thing i can thing of is this project has many ex-2018 (now upgraded) Revit links

any help appreciated,

thanks

Re: Unwanted raster printing - unknown reason

I`m having exactly the same problem.

Using 2020 Revit:

Sections, Elevations, Draft Elevation don`t print has a raster!

Already try to change the colour scheme, VG, repair Revit, uploads, etc, nothing worked yet...Anybody with a solution?

Do i need to uninstall Revit and install again?

Would appreciate some help...Thanks in advance!

Can you upload (part of) your project where the issue still exists so we can have a look?

-Are there images somewhere in the view or on the titleblock?

-Does this issue occur only in this project?

-Does it happen on other computers as well?

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Hey,

As noted an .rvt would let us find out for sure, but otherwise, just an extra couple of things to check...

For a view corruption... If you duplicate the view with detailing do you get the same result?

Otherwise, maybe try duplicating without detailing, just to ensure it is not some element override you weren't aware of...

Hope that helps, good luck 🙂
