Unable to open Revit files from File Explore or Dropbox

In windows 10 (bootcamp), all of my revit models are displayed as pdf's (Adobe Acrobat Document Cloud) and I can't open them from File Explorer or Dropbox. From Revit Open, I can see that the files are correctly appended with ".rvt" . Thanks!

That's the Windows file association setting. You can change it by right clicking on the file and clicking open with and choose other app.

You shouldn't do this with Revit! Always open from Revit!

Yeah but if you don't break the habit of opening them from someplace other than Revit, it will make problems for you somewhere down the line and it could be major ones.
