Trying to consolidate projects

I'm attempting something I've never done before and it's causing me grief. I started a project with my regular D size Title Sheet template and in coordination with the Engineers work, I created a B size template and I've been trying to get the views from the original file, (project), into this new project and I'm sure I'm doing this the hard way and it's not working out well. So I have created a handful of views in the original file, site, foundation, floor plan. And created the new file from an ootb Revit template. I added my B size title block to the new file. And, first of all the whole file structure is wrong and there are no elevation views so I created those. I eliminated all of the ootb autodesk sheets and created my own. Now I'm trying to get the views from the original file into this new one and I can't figure out how to make this all work. No matter which direction I go I have to re create too may views, sheets, legends, etc.

Throw me a rope!

Why not just put a B-size title block into your existing model?

Are you creating two sheetsets of the same views, but on different sheetsizes? or why are you not using both titleblocks in the same project?

If the project requires D-size, just force them to use D-size. Nothing good will come from using two different sheet sizes. Nothing. Literally 100% of the projects we hire consultants for come in a single sheetsize.  Same is true for ancient legacy projects that still were in literal blue-paper. Or give them your model for them to create their own sheets. In what way are you collaborating with them?

I think you are talking about the titleblock size? Is that what you mean by "template"?

None of this "work" is necessary. Keep it simple. You don't need a new model. You need a new TB family to replace existing one, then switch all the sheets to use it, then tweak view placement and scale as necessary.
