Trouble snapping/aligning a regular wall to a toilet partition

Hi I am trying to align my wall to the edge of the toilet partition so that 1) my room tags don't overlap and 2) I don't get extra lines in my interior elevations. But the wall doesn't get aligned and when I manually drag it, it goes to the other edge of the partition (i.e. extra lines in the interior elevations). I am not sure why this can't be done.
