Hello to everyone,

I am actually with some problems in the use of the cmd trim, in specific when I try to trim the line with a spline. You can check what I am saying with the picture that I am uploading above.

Best regards

Correct trim does not work with spline. This has something to do how splines are created.

You will have to do this manually

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

In Revit is there any command that is similar to the explode command? theta way would be much more easy to me to work with that line since the spline would become a line, in this case, since that in revit there is no polyline.

best regards.

You can TRIM a line with a Spline if you draw them within an in-place mass.

ToanDN, thanks a lot dor the tip, I am actually very new to the software, I ddidnt had the time nor the skills to the massing and site tools, but I am interested in learning more about them, I drew a line and then a spline using this tools, and after that I used the "Create form" option, and applied it to both objects, yet I still got the message "mass contains no solid geometry", I am sure that I have some steps to do, I do not know which ones they are, and maybe you could help or recommend some sort of information that I could use in order to understand better this tools. I had also uploaded a screenshot where you can see to what I am refering.

Best regards

If you only need to trim a line with a spline then you don't need to create form at all.
