Hello All
I created a family for Tapered Insulation. The way it works Is that you Determine the slope (or pitch) and then you drag it out. It is a Line Based Detail Component. If I copy an instance from another project or within a project I can manipulate it just fine. But most of the time when I try to place it as a new component it causes a "Fatal Error" and shuts down Revit.
the Family was designed in revit 2021 I'm Attaching it here
I'd Appreciate any input as to what is wrong with it.

It sure works better now It still triggered a crash if I didn't rest a moment between instances but not every time
The H parameter was controlling the line skeleton which wasn't actually needed, I guess. I just needed to hook 'Height' onto the sketch itself.
Thanks.
Well there is more to fix in it if you want to do it over...this should not crash
