Toposurface Triangles Covering Contours

I'm having his issue where in a building plan view, elements of my toposurface are "blocked" by a mysterious triangular form. The topography shows up perfectly and the issue is not present in other views. What am I doing wrong? I've checked in the visibility graphics and it is just an issue with the toposurface, the stairs in the image are completely fine if the topo goes away.

As you already guessed. Probably the toposurface has some issues. Revit creates the toposurface based on triangles. In some cases it can happen that the calculation gets off and resulting in such artifacts. You would have to edit the toposurface and see if you can make (small) modifications so that the topsourface behaves correclty.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Befor 3 days i receive topo from one contractor and after i used in revit effect was the same - artifacts and blocked options. My stairs , roads and some of landscape element was affected ( they just dont look right ).

After few hours i make my own topo based on original.

Today i receive new topo from contractor and all was fine.

The problem was in topo file.

Based on the explanation the problem was when data was exported from total station to Acad. Theres have locations markers which are corupted in first file.

Maybe you problem is caused by some similar

Hi,

I have the same problem Triangles with the topo surface category, that cannot be selected.

see attached pic

Did you get a solution?

My workaround is that the 'section box' when bisecting it hides it. I then hide the section box.

I tried deleting the topo surface and recreating it to no avail. 😞
