I took Generic Model wall based template and loaded two rectangular objects (12'X8') on each face of the wall. Please see the attachment for more clarifying.

I loaded them in the project and place it on wall . i am unable to rotate them on wall by using space bar.

I need that facility it is very useful for my projects.

Can you please help me on this.

I am not familiar on parametric to control them.

Edit the family and include a rotation parameter. You can learn more about family creation with the Revit Families Guide HERE.

Have a look HERE for some specifics on rotation.

Thanks for the information.

I created a reference line and lock the end point at the intersection of two planes. After I created an angular parameter.

Align bottom face of the object to the line. when I apply the angle it showing some errors.

Please refer the attachment for your reference and suggest how to move forward. Once it finish i will load them into wall based family.

Thanks,

The object you want to rotate has to be on the right workplane.

-Select the object

-Click on 'edit work plane'.

-Select 'Pick a plane' then OK

-Select the reference line.

Make sure you choose the reference line when hovering over object (see the statusbar that reference line is selected).

Your object has to rotate together with the reference line that is why you have to use that as work plane for your object.
