Toposolid: Insert terrain point by clicking 3D Point (Pointcloud)

Hello,

is there a possibility/add-on to insert terrain points in Toposolid with the correct height, taken from a point cloud (3D laser scanner) by clicking on a 3D point?
The object snap allows to click on a 3D point of a point cloud, but when inserting the terrain point, it only takes the position in xy, but the height is not used (only absolutely or depending on the setting...)

Currently I set terrain points on section lines, which I then bring to the correct height in the section views. I repeat this in regular intervals. Of course, this is a bit time-consuming, but it is usually faster than using other software (e.g. Civil3D) to clean up the point cloud, extract the terrain etc.

Am I the only one who would need this? Or is the function so well hidden?

I use Revit 2024

Thanks and greetings

Simon

No you're not the only one. I'm astounded that we still don't have this feature. When I saw that topographical creation had gotten a huge overhaul in Revit 2024, I was very excited, assuming that this feature would most definitely be included. I was very disappointed to learn that it wasn't. I can only assume that the developers have very little experience of working with point clouds.
