Toposolid import file points bug ?

Hi,

I have some issue with importing points to create a topo solid of a road.

I created a surface in civil 3D and exported points from it.

When I create a toposolid from the txt, I have theses issues :

- wrong coordinates in X and Y (just one coordinate at the bottom is right)

- some Z coordinates are wrong

- some points are not created

- slopes are not equal 2.00% eventough they are in civil 3D.

Toposolid R24Toposolid R24

C3D surfaceC3D surface

Surface R23Surface R23

I tried to create a surface with the same txt file in Revit 2023, all seems ok with the import.

You can find the txt file points and the rvt.

What is wrong with toposolid importation ?

Thank you

Okay, so top x value is off by 0.012 meters. What does that mean to you? A bug?

Ever think that maybe the DWG is annotated incorrectly, or that the data extraction file is flawed, or that the surveyor messed up in the field?  I mean 0.012 meters is a sneeze.

I created it in civil 3d and I checked the values in the txt.

The problème occurs when I import the points from the txt file to create toposolid.
Why Have I no issue with the same txt file with revit 2023 ?

Well first off, you are creating a surface in 2023 and a solid in 2024. But still, I can't get too worked up about 0.012 meters, especially when it's dirt coordinates.  I guess if I was modeling an ant farm, that would be a big deal.

It is a file test.
My field is road and bridges. The tolerance is mm in drawing and 1 cm in construction.
So yes 0.012m is not ok in my field.

And I don't know why in R24 points are not imported correctly because in r23 points are ok with the same file

FWIW I would never use a brand new feature for production.  Wait for a version or at least a major service pack for them to iron out all the bumps.
