topography to floor?

Hi,

Is there any way to create floor from topography that I created from imported dwg?

Thanks!

Amit

Not a FLOOR, but you can do a ROOF and call it a "Floor".

Import the CAD you used to create the Toposurface directly into an In-Place Massing session, close out of the In-Place Massing Session and use the ROOF by Mass Face tool (Massing & Site Tab) and select faces of the Mass that was created from the CAD.

Works like a charm.

Thanks for posting that link @cbcarch. I hadn't seen it before.  Do you know right off hand if you can use a "Variable" thickness floor with that approach?

Thanks for all the replies! The dynamo solution worked!

Yes, it does floors with variable thickness as well.

Thank you so much for posting this link, I have been looking for a tool that can do this and it does it so easily too!

Hello guys. It doesn't work with a Civil-3D shared topography. Has anyone experienced it and could find a solution?
