Topography not showing point elevations

Hello all, I am new to Revit. I have successfully created topo surfaces before but for some reason I am having a problem with it today. In short in my topo surface is not showing any incline when using points at higher elevations above 0' 0" for ex. .

I may have changed a setting by accident, but now when I go to layout the new topo surface points and points at higher elevations the surface comes out flat in 3D view every time. I saved a previous project that had the topo surface working correctly and everything worked as expected when I erased and started from scratch.

Also my section box comes out completely 2D when I check the box (on), the surface stays 2D when I expand the section box parameters.

I'm sure I'm over thinking this, if ANYONE HAS AN ANSWER TO THIS PLEASE LET ME KNOW! THANKYOU!

I have attached some screenshots showing my problem.

Select the Toposurface. press "Edit Surface" and inspect the elevations of the Points by selecting each one and looking at the Elevation shown for it on the Options Bar.  They're all the same Elevation from what I see.

How did you enter point elevations when you were creating the topography? Edit it, select a few points and see what they say.
