Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if people have had many issues with their topos/ levels and units?
Im receiving information in CAD and I'm trying to translate it to Revit to model the site and have all the leveling data.
(I know its a bit strange and the easiest solution would be for them to only draw in one unit but that's out of my hands)
So whats currently happening is the information that I'm getting is drawn in mm (this is like the site plan and stuff) but the Levels (Z values from CAD) are drawn in meters, so I'm stuck with one set of information which is drawn in two different units.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get the correct Z values while also having the correct X/Y Values?
Ive tried scaling it and changing the units in CAD but I can either have the correct levels or the correct site plan.
If anyone has any Revit or CAD solutions I would love to hear them 🙂
Thanks
Convert the Z values to match the units of the site plan. For example, if your site plan is in mm and Z values are in meters, convert the Z values to mm by multiplying by 1000. You can convert the units when editing the toposolid by typing the right value in "elevation". Make sure to check the Revit Units (UN Shortcut) dimension to match the cad (mm)
