Top of Walls Passing Through Floors When Joined

Im sure there is a simple explanation to this one but every time i try to join these walls to the floor they pass through the floor and the floor finish despite the offset value being -150 (the floor thickness)

I have played with many of the parameters of each of the objects and I cant seem to get them to join normally. Any ideas why?

EDIT: Just to note, the base of the walls seems to attach normally

Can you post the .rvt file? That would make troubleshooting quicker.

Has to do with the FUNCTION of Layer of the Compound Structures.

Bottom line: move your Floor's top Layer to outside of the Core and make its Function=Finish (e.g. not Structure).
