Title block properties

Can't find this exact issue elsewhere, certain it's something obvious.

I've been provided a titleblock by a client to be used on layouts for a project.

The values to appear on the titleblock are all configured as shared instance parameters within the titleblock family. The labels are linked to the parameters.

I load the titleblock into the project, the options appear in the properties list, but if I enter a value, it doesn't appear on the titleblock. 

I'm not able to attach files related to this unfortunately.

create project parameters from the shared parameters

At least try posting a censored screenshot, or modify the family settings to change or delete sensitive data.
Because without more information, we might just be guessing and never get it right.
