The ViewCube on Revit 2025 is missing

I just downloaded the program, haven't made any changes to it, and the view cube doesn't appear anywhere. Its as if the option is blocked or something. I wish to fix this ASAP, I'll put an image onto how the options on the program interface appear (it´s in spanish).

Are you in a 3D view?

No, just the default page when you start a project.

Have you tired it in a 3D view?

I don't know what your default page is, but you won't see the view cube (or have the option to turn it on) unless you are in a 3D view.

Thank you so much, I'm new to this software and it has so many features that I still need to learn more about the basics.

If you activate the 3D view from the sheet view, the view cube doesn't show up. It did in previous versions of Revit. Now, in 2025, it only shows up if you open the view directly from the browser. It is cumbersome to have to open the view directly when you need to make minor adjustments to the view orientation regarding its placement on the sheet.

This is a topic that's been discussed between a coworker and I. It's beyond cumbersome, it's a genuine step backwards in productivity and workflow. Unless this is just an options setting now, it seems redundant to remove a feature that was genuinely helpful.

How did you determine that it was removed as opposed to it being something in the options?

I did not determine it as such, I was speaking speculatively. If you know if it is indeed an option that can be enabled/disabled, I would be glad to know!

Redundant? What did you really mean to type there?

We expect discussions to stay focused on the topic at hand. Criticizing someones English—when it’s not their native language—is neither helpful nor constructive, and we would appreciate it if you directed your comments accordingly.

We? Maybe if "we" would recognize that it was a simple question, "we" wouldn't be playing moderator, would "we"?

In my country royal plural is used for monarchs. Sarcasm doesn’t change the fact that personal criticism, either about language skills or the proper way to address, is unnecessary and off-topic. If you have something constructive to add to the discussion, we’d be happy to hear it.

I was simply asking for clarification. Anything more than that is all in your perception. You obviously have some sort of made up personal issue to be coming at me like this. Might want to check that at the door.
