  • My Rv17 has Pantone color pallet codified with three digit-numbers. People where I live refer to either Benjamin M, Sherwin William colors which they refer to as eggshell white, ivory, terra cotta...So that Pantone pallet is useless.
  • At fingertips on the phone we can find out RGB values and make desired colors per paint company, but noway to save or lock those newly created colors.
  • Anyone know of useful app or ways to control this seemingly simple but overlooked by Rv ?

In 2024 you have the ability to create/work with custom color book files.

https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2024/ENU/?guid=GUID-8F9A3CD0-8D49-41B0-98FD-D67E7B71934F

You can create a color book file (.acb) and put it in the support path: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2024\Colorbooks

Then the custom color defined in the color book will be available.

When a color is select from a custom color book, the RGB equal is displayed.
