Please Help - Dimension text Stretching during Break View

See image, Dimension line stretching whenever i break view and plot to pdf

Drawing looks fine in revit then stretches when plotted

I have tried resolving:

  1. dimensioning before breaking view
  2. dimensioning after breaking view
  3. turning off annotation crop
  4. turning on annotation crop
  5. moving the dimension line far from the breakline works - but thats not where i need my dimension to be legible

Hi are you using Revit 2024?

We're seeing a similar issue when using Vertical View Breaks.

On further investigation, printing with a different PDF Printer resolves the issue. PDFCreator & Adobe PDF printer drivers work fine, whereas the in-built Revit PDF printer fails.

This is exactly what it is --- I haven't tried but are you able to still use the Revit in house PDF exporter whilst changing the PDF "printer"?

The revit pdf exporter is better than the actual print command since it allows for more adjustment to sheet order and auto printing of different sheet sizes

It’s not possible to define the printer driver using the OOTB Export PDF functionality. Therefore unfortunately, this bug will persist until the driver is fixed by Autodesk. :trauriges,_aber_erleichtertes_Gesicht:
