I have created a road barrier family in structural framing. I have to make 30 copies of these. Problem is that when i start copying, it changes the position of the previous placed barriers. Screenshot may help in understanding the problem.

Structural framing is a special family that has the automatic joining behavior. Try pin the previously placed elements see if it helps. With that said, I don't think structural framing is the best choice for this. A simple generic model or line based model, or a work plane based (if you need to place them on a slope) should do a better job.

If you have to repeat it a lot, you can create a railing with custom rail profile of the barrier and no balusters. Or a curtain wall with custom curtain panel and no mullions.
