Texture Alignment Issue

Hi all!

I am currently creating a series of brick textures with different bonds for our company library. I have created a texture in photoshop at 1:1 scale - 480w (2x 230 bricks + mortar) x 516h (6x 76 brick courses + mortar).

I have also created a Model Fill pattern for the matching brick with appropriate dimensions. When I import the texture and try to align it with the fill pattern, they don't match up, causing inaccuracies in Render (Enscape). Is there something I am doing wrong? The sample size of the texture is 480w x 516h, the same as the photoshop file, and yet it seems to not match the pattern, see images for reference.

Thanks,

I might be wrong, but usually I see texture maps have the same length and width  ex: 500x500pixels.

See attached 480x480 version. To the best of my knowledge, it "works" but I'm concerned it won't be a true masonry coursing unless either the bricks you textured in photoshop were off by just a tick.

Again, the alignment works when you do this:

I don't trust that Texture Alignment tool that much.  Play around with it and try to make the center of the pattern and center of the image lining up then you can get it.

P/S: I use a reduced version of your image because there is no reason for a texture image to be that hi-res
