Technique For Creating Auditorium Floor / Seating

I have been working on creating an auditorium in Revit LT. The space is wedge shaped and has 7 levels or "tiers" that accommodate walkways and seating. I started by creating a level for each tier of seating, then used the floor tool to draw each of the 7 levels. Once I have a piece of the floor in place, I duplicated it and changed the default thickness to match my needs. My problem is these floor rectangles I create stick out on the ends through the walls because the walls are slanted, not square. I have tried the join geometry tool but it does not seem to do the job.

any help would be appreciated!

What prevents you from editing the floor footprint from a rectangle to a wedge?

Wow, I was trying to do that but when I went to the modify tab their was no way to do it. Then, I just realized that I had joined the walls and the floor in an earlier attempt to fix this. So I un-joined them and now I have the option to edit the floor shape!

Thanks!
